Prohibited Activities Policy
CardSOFT strictly enforces international AML/CFT compliance and fraud detection to protect legitimate traders and our financial network.
1 Compliance Statement
CardSOFT is committed to maintaining a secure, legitimate, and ethical financial environment. We operate under strict alignment with the Money Laundering (Prevention and Prohibition) Act of Nigeria and international recommendations from the Financial Action Task Force (FATF). We enforce a strict zero-tolerance approach toward any individual or entity attempting to use our services for fraudulent or illicit gain.
2 Strictly Prohibited Transactions
The following activities are strictly prohibited on CardSOFT under penalty of immediate account termination, fund forfeiture, and criminal prosecution:
Submitting gift cards that were purchased using stolen credit cards, hacked bank accounts, unauthorized debit authorizations, or counterfeit payment methods.
Liquidating cards procured through romance scams, impersonation schemes, IRS/government agency impersonations, phishing operations, or ransomware threats.
Submitting a gift card for Naira payout on CardSOFT and subsequently redeeming the code yourself, sharing it with another buyer, or filing an unauthorized chargeback with the issuing retailer.
Using photo editing tools, AI generation, or counterfeit thermal paper templates to create fake purchase receipts, alter barcode numbers, or fabricate cashier activation slips.
Structuring multiple high-frequency submissions across small amounts to intentionally circumvent identity verification, risk audits, or daily withdrawal limits.
Registering multiple accounts using false identities, proxies, or burner numbers to bypass previous account blocks, risk scores, or trading restrictions.
3 Forensic Auditing & Detection
CardSOFT employs multi-layered automated risk assessment technology to ensure integrity:
- Perceptual Image Hashing: Every uploaded photo is cross-checked against our database to immediately detect recycled, stolen, or duplicate screenshots.
- Retailer Telemetry Verification: Automated validation against retailer balance endpoints flags disputed, blocked, or refunded serial numbers in real time.
- Bank Account Verification: Account numbers must match the KYC name on file via the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS) database.
4 Legal Consequences and Enforcement
In any instance where fraudulent or prohibited activity is identified, CardSOFT enforces the following remedies without prior notice:
- Immediate and permanent freezing of the user's CardSOFT trading account.
- Total forfeiture of all pending payouts and wallet balances to cover merchant chargebacks and forensic overhead.
- Permanent blacklisting of the user's bank account, phone number, and IP ranges across our national fraud registry.
- Full transmission of the user's dossier (including IP timestamps, submitted photos, transaction history, device fingerprints, and verified bank records) to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), the Special Fraud Unit (SFU) of the Nigeria Police Force, and international cybercrime bodies.
